Cocos Keeling Direction Island Anchorage 12. 05.54S 96.52.87E Good holding in 20' with decent protection from trades. The only anchoring spot allowed in Cocos.
Indonesia Ujong Kulon Anchorage 6.44.99S 105.15.65E Good holding in 20' but on lee shore for prevailing SE. Not much fetch however. Great spot to get ready for passage to Cocos. Park is worth exploring.
Indonesia Krakatoa Anchorage 6.05.42S 105.27.02E Good holding in 32 '. Great view of baby Krakatoa
Indonesia Kali Anchorage 5.53.97 S 106.05.35 Industrial area but very good holding in 20 feet. Good jumping off point for Krakatoa
Indonesia Seliu Anchorage 3.11.67S 107.32.28E Good protection from E to W in 30'. Nearby island and reef blocks SE swell.
Indonesia Belitung Anchorage 2.33.41S 107.38.36E Good protection from SE in 40'. A ways from Rally anchorage and road access but much less rolly. Moved boat to Rally anchorage for fuel and returned for calm.
Indonesia Palau Panjang Anchorage 2.08.78S 106.15.8E Overnight rest stop. Protection from E-S. A little rolly. Good holding in 32' sand.  
Indonesia Bangka Anchorage 1.30.62S 105.52.63E Big bay with great holding in 25 feet clay/sand. Very good protection from NE-SW
Indonesia Lingga Anchorage 00.16.61S 104.58.88E Very good protection from SE trades in 27 feet of sand . A little rolly but fine. Good hopping off spot for Bangka or Belitung going south.
Indonesia Kentar Anchorage 00.03.20N 104.45.59E Very good protection and holding in 30 feet. Big shallow bay. 
Indonesia Mesinak Anchorage 00.25.71 N 104.31.67 E Sand in 30 feet. Open to NW thru NE. A little rolly but OK for calm overnight stop.
Indonesia Galang Anchorage 00.44.72 N 104.10.98 E Sand in 15 feet.  Open W to NW otherwise good protection. Not much going for it besides a stopping point. 
Indonesia Kepalajerih Anchorage 01.03.20 N 103.46.74 E Mud in 21 feet. Open to N/NE. Right across from Singapore. Great spot to jump off from. Very quiet.
Singapore Singapore Raffles Marina 01.20.55N 103.38.03E Great protection, no roll, and haul-out but RSYC has better facilities and is more conveniently located.
Malaysia Puteri Harbor Puteri Harbor Marina 01.25.01N 103.39.63E Very nice marina. Totally calm. Nice facilities and easy check in.
Malaysia Palau Pisang Anchorage 01.28.59N 103.15.26E Great holding in 22'. Open to NE but good protection from ship wakes and current to the S/N/W.
Malaysia Muar Anchorage 02.01.06N 102.31.12E Open roadstead. Good holding in 12 feet. Fine in settled weather
Malaysia Port Dickson Admiral Marina 02.28.80N 101.50.61E Another nice marina. Great facilities and calm at docks.
Malaysia Port Klang Anchorage 02.54.83N 101.15.88E 12' at dead low in clay/mud. Right at mouth for easy departure. Open to S and W.
Malaysia Bernan River Area Anchorage 03.42.61N 100.50.98E 26' in sand/mud. Wide open to west. Anchored next to stilt house to avoid drifting nets. Not the best spot.
Malaysia Pangkor Pangkor Marina 04.12.66N 100.36.12E Small marina. OK facilities. Nothing within walking distance. Very shallow approach

Thailand Koh Tarutoa Anchorage 06.37.85N 99.36.78E National Park and very pretty. Good holding in 28' sand but wide open to west. 
Thailand Koh Muk Anchorage 07.22.52N 99.17.15E Good holding in 22' sand. Beautiful cliffs and small beach. Great protection except from west.
Thailand Koh Lanta Anchorage 07.29.64N 98.04.35E Good holding in 25' sand. Wide open to  west.
Thailand Phi Phi Don Anchorage 07.46.65N 98.46.05E 45' in sand. Good protection from S thru NW. Dramatic island formation but but busy with beach tourists

Thailand Koh Phanak Anchorage 08.10.42N 98.29.29 Dramatic Spires. Good holding in 17 feet. E/NE swell can still come around to make it rolly. .
Thailand Phuket Yacht Haven Marina 08.10.21N 98.20.43E Good protection with breeze. BIG place. Friendly staff. So far so good. Good/not new facilities. $15/day.
Thailand Ao Chalong Anchorage 07.48.84N 98.23.05E Good holding in 28 feet sand. Good protection. A better overnight spot after checking in than main harbor. 
Thailand Koh Lanta Anchorage 07.37.92N 99.01.53E Great holding in 15 feet off big beach. Good protection from all directions but west. Tourist beach but still good spot.
Thailand Koh Muk Anchorage 07.21.57N 99.17.43E Rocky in 30 feet. Open to S/SW. Tourist island but pretty.

Malaysia Talagi, Langkaw Anchorage 06.21.17N 99.40.59E Great all around protection and good holding in mud. Not alone but good views of mountains.
Malaysia Kuah, Langkawi Anchorage 06.18.68N 99.50.57E Huge open anchorage off main town. Good holding in 18 feet. Good protection from all directions except SE

Malaysia Port Kelang Anchorage 03.02.47N 101.02.47E Great holding in 19feet. Mud. Just off shipping channel and across from container port. Strong current, 3+knts.
Malaysia Port Dickson Admiral Marina 02.28.80N 101.50.61E Another nice marina. Great facilities and calm.
Malaysia Palau Besar Anchorage 02.06.24N 102.19.88E Good Holding in 12 feet. Funky currents but OK. Right off the Strait.
Malaysia Palau Pisang Anchorage 01.26.58N 103.14.69E Right off the Strait of Malacca. Good holding in 8 feet. Open to SW.
Malaysia Puteri Harbor Puteri Harbor Marina 01.25.01N 103.39.63E Very nice marina. Totally calm. Nice facilities and easy check in.
Singapore Singapore RSYC Marina 01.17.67 N 103.45.65 E A little rolly but OK. Close to bus and subway. Nice pool, showers and restaurants. No chandlery.
Indonesia Kepalajerih Anchorage 01.03.20 N 103.46.74 E Mud in 21 feet. Open to N/NE. Right across from Singapore. Great spot to jump off from. Very quiet.
Indonesia Galang Anchorage 00.44.72 N 104.10.98 E Sand in 15 feet.  Open W to NW otherwise good protection. Not much going for it besides a stopping point. 
Indonesia Mesinak Anchorage 00.25.71 N 104.31.67 E Sand in 30 feet. Open to NW thru NE. A little rolly but OK for calm overnight stop on the way to Singapore
Indonesia Serutu, Borneo Anchorage 01.42.35 S 108.43.24 E Sand in 24 feet. Open from NW to NE. Good holding and good stop on the way to Singapore. We had several strong downdrafts from tall surrounding hills. Good views of nearby islands. 
Indonesia Kumai, Borneo Anchorage 02.44.55 S 111.43.91 E Mud in 35+ feet. Anchored among barges/tugs across from town. Good holding. Current not bad.
Indonesia Kombal Bay, Lombok Anchorage 08.24.33 S 116.04.53 E Sand in 60 feet. Very strong downdraft from mountains. Pretty views. Lot of local boats and activity.
Indonesia Un Named Bay Anchorage 08.15.99 S 118.26.72 E Open from SW to N to NE. Sand/coral in 50'. Decent holding. Great view of another volcano. Pretty spot.
Indonesia Wera Bay Anchorage 08.17.6 S 118.55.9 E Wide open to north and east through west. Good holding in 15-20 feet of sand. Boat building village and great view of Volcano. Classic rolly open roadstead anchorage.
Indonesia Gili Banta Anchorage 08.26.02 S 119.18.20 E Decent holding in  50'. Coral and sand. Open to south. Within canyon like chute. Quite pretty. 
Indonesia Labuan Bajo, Eco Resort Anchorage 08.31.02 S 119.51.99 E Great holding in sand in 15 feet. Open to North but prevailing is SE.
Indonesia Gili Bodo, Flores Anchorage 08.22.16 S 120.00.90 E 70 feet in coral, some sand. Open to NW.  Not the best holding. Dragged first attempt. Very pretty spot.
Indonesia Inca Village, Flores Anchorage 08.16.67 S 120.24.33 E 20 feet in sand. Open to N but just fine in prevailing SE with high ground blocking winds. Good overnight stopping point for westward passages.
Indonesia Kaledupa Reef Reef pass 05.36.80 S 123.29.70 E SW exit/entrance for reef pass. Two poorly charted reefs between Hoga and Flores
Indonesia Kapotta   Reef Reef pass 05.33.20S 123.31.70 E NE entrance/exit for reef pass. Two poorly charted reefs between Hoga and Flores.
Indonesia Hoga Island, Wakatobi Anchorage 05.28.87 S 123.45.73 E Only anchoring option in less than 95+ feet. 30-35 feet in mostly sand and some coral. Not best protection from SE prevailing winds but reefy areas block open water. Will/Would move w/strong SE winds forecast.
Indonesia Hoga Island, Wakatobi Mooring 05.28.58 S 123.45.44 E Mooring for Hoga Island Resort and Wallacea Research Center. Said to be 2000lb ship's anchor. 3/4" mooring line. Appears to be only viable option for all wind conditions. After 3 days we had to move for Liveaboard. 
Indonesia Banda, Banda Naira Anchorage 04.31.22 S 129.53.92 E Near Laguna Hotel. One of few shallow spots in harbor. Drop in 35+ feet fall back to 100 feet in prevailing SE winds. NW wind would be problem. In our 8 days always SE. Sand and rock.
Indonesia Raja Ampat, Yanggelo Island Anchorage 00.30.73 S 130.27.23 E Nice snorkeling in area. Very, very protected and not too deep. A little tight, used stern hook. Sand.
Indonesia Raja Ampat, Yum Island Anchorage 00.47.38 S 130.45.40 E Some SE/NW exposure but very beautiful. SE/NW winds have to be 20+ knts to cause chop. Easy access to Papua Paradise Dive Resort's working pier. Sand and coral. 
Micronesia Helen Reef Anchorage 02.58.04 N 131.48.56 E Alongside several moorings near Ranger Station . Sand and good holding in 60+ feet. Several days of 35+ knts wind.
Micronesia Helen Reef Pass Entrance 02.52.43 N 131.44.24 E We stayed in pass until it emptied into lagoon. 2 earlier branches to port may have been OK as well..
